Inero Software

From idea to production

Don't estimate assumptions. Build the idea first.

Turn your software idea into a working Proof of Concept in 2-3 days. Work directly with Inero engineers, validate assumptions, and decide what should actually be built before committing to a larger project.

Estimating something nobody fully understands yet is expensive guessing.

A client may know the business objective while neither side yet knows every workflow, exception, dependency, or technical constraint. That is normal.

We are still learning your business

Even a detailed first conversation rarely captures the operational reality behind every process and exception.

You are still discovering the product

People often understand what they need only after they can see and use a working solution.

Two ways to start

Choose the model that matches how much is already known. When important uncertainty remains, we generally recommend starting with a Rapid PoC.

Recommended when requirements are evolving

Rapid PoC Workshop

A short, paid software development workshop. We work closely with your team and build software during the workshop, rather than producing only a specification.

Typically 2-3 working days; up to 5 for larger projects.

  • Discover workflows while building
  • Validate AI and integration assumptions early
  • See and test a working core flow quickly
  • Keep the source code and continue from it

Fixed price

Defined Scope / Fixed Price

For procurement or delivery contexts that require a defined budget, contractual acceptance criteria, and a commitment to an agreed result.

The analysis period depends on the complexity and uncertainty of the scope.

  • Define scope and dependencies first
  • Agree assumptions and acceptance criteria
  • Manage later changes against the scope
  • Transfer more delivery risk to Inero

We build during the workshop

This is not a traditional requirements workshop. The client works directly with Inero engineers as the first version takes shape.

  1. Day 1

    Understand and start

Identify the business problem and core workflow, then begin implementation immediately.

  2. Day 2

    Use and correct

Interact with the first working version. Expose misunderstandings, missing requirements, and useful new ideas.

  3. Day 3

    Refine and assess

Test realistic examples, improve the key flow, and identify what is still needed for broader production use.

For larger projects, the process may continue for up to five working days. The exact format depends on the problem.

AI accelerates the engineering. Engineers remain responsible.

Inero engineers use AI development agents to generate and refactor code, build interfaces and integrations, analyse APIs, prepare tests, explore alternatives, and document decisions. Our engineers guide the work, validate the results, and make the architectural and technical decisions.

What you receive

The result is tangible enough to improve both the product decision and the next estimate.

01

Working Proof of Concept

A functional implementation of the core workflow agreed during the workshop.

02

Source code

The source code produced during the PoC is handed over to the client.

03

AI development history

Where technically possible and appropriate, we provide relevant context from the AI-assisted work for transparency and continuity.

04

Validated product understanding

A shared, evidence-based view of what should actually be built.

05

Production gap and backlog

A prioritised view of missing workflows, security, integrations, testing, operations, privacy, and other production needs.

06

Updated development estimate

A T&M estimate or budget range based on what we learned, rather than on untested assumptions.

The PoC can become the beginning of the product

We do not automatically throw the prototype away and start again. Where technically sensible, the same codebase evolves through iterative improvement. Production readiness is assessed per component and according to risk, so stable parts can begin delivering value while other areas are still being strengthened.

Continue with a predictable engineering budget

After the PoC, we can agree monthly development capacity and priorities. You retain flexibility while we progressively address production gaps, improve evaluations, and add functionality.

A good AI demo is not yet a reliable system

The PoC helps us discover what to build. Evaluations help us determine whether we can trust it. The validation level depends on the application and its business risk.

Why can fixed price cost more?

A fixed-price project is not simply estimated hours multiplied by a rate. Inero takes more responsibility for uncertainty and must account for edge cases, verification, integration risk, production engineering, contingency, and delivery risk. The client is buying more certainty.

A longer-term operating model

Need to build a capability and later bring it in-house?

Build Operate Transfer can follow the same product journey when the goal is not only to deliver software, but also to establish the team, knowledge, and operating practice that the client will eventually own.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Rapid PoC Workshop?

It is a short, paid software development workshop in which Inero engineers work directly with the client to build and validate a functional Proof of Concept.

How long does a Rapid PoC take?

A typical Rapid PoC Workshop takes 2-3 working days and may take up to 5 working days for larger projects.

Do I need a complete software specification?

No. The approach is designed for situations where the business objective is known but detailed product requirements are still evolving.

Do you actually build software during the workshop?

Yes. Inero engineers build a functional implementation during the workshop; it is not only a discovery or requirements session.

Do I receive the source code?

Yes. The client receives the source code created during the PoC.

Is the PoC production ready?

Not necessarily. Some components may already be suitable for limited use, while others may require more engineering, security work, testing, or validation.

Do you use AI to build the prototype?

Yes. Inero engineers use AI development agents and AI-assisted tools to accelerate implementation, testing, and analysis. The engineering team remains responsible for decisions and validation.

What happens after the PoC?

Inero can continue developing the same solution iteratively, typically within an agreed T&M or monthly engineering budget.

Can parts of the PoC be used in production?

Potentially, yes. Production readiness is evaluated per component according to the risks and requirements of the specific project.

Can you provide a fixed-price quote instead?

Yes. Inero can prepare a fixed-price proposal when requirements, assumptions, dependencies, and acceptance criteria can be sufficiently defined.

Why can fixed-price development cost more?

Because Inero takes on more uncertainty and delivery risk. The price must cover testing, edge cases, contingency, integration risk, and responsibility for the agreed result.

How do you test AI applications?

Depending on risk, we use representative test cases, expected outputs, deterministic checks, escalation tests, repeated runs, tracing, regression evaluations, and production monitoring.

Have an idea but not a complete specification? That's enough to start.

Bring us the business problem. We will use working software to help turn it into a better-defined product decision.
